worked for me!

got this for hubby's Christmas party. it worked really well. the fabric is slightly shiny, so looks dressier than most maternity/nursing dresses out there... the sash is removable, and you could either tie it in front or in back. also, there's a panel in the front that's removable - i ended up removing mine because it was easier to breastfeed that way...

Much better than expected!

This dress is even better than I expected. I normally hate to buy clothes online because I really need to try things on first. Dresses are especially hard because my waist and hips are smaller proportionally compared to my chest so if something fits in my waist its usually far too tight up top, or if it fits my chest its too loose around the waist making me look matronly. Shopping for maternity clothes is a special challenge. I've found that most stores in my area have a poor selection, are overpriced, or both. Therefore, I am forced to buy a lot of my maternity clothes online, especially specialty items like formal dresses, winter coats, and bathing suits. I purchased this particular dress for a company holiday party. I am 5'1" and my belly is on the larger side for how far along I am (6 months) so I decided to order the black dress in a medium. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by how well it fit and how comfortable it was. Its more stretchy than I would have guessed based on the pictures. I also like how it covers the top of my arms (I am not one of those women who is blessed with slender, graceful arms) and I also like the removable nursing panel. The fabric is silky and luxurious and not at all cheap-looking. Another plus is that when my husband saw me in it, he immediately commented on how great I looked. The only drawback is the detachable sash - when I tried to remove it to switch it so it ties in the front one of the buttons immediately fell off, but this is a minor problem since I know how to sew and can easily fix it.

Being pregnant its sometimes hard to feel beautiful and elegant but this dress is one of those pieces that just makes you feel great the moment you put it on. I can't wait to wear it to my company party.
